Getting closer!

It's been a busy week for us here in Bakertown! We got some new furniture - for Smudge and for Erin and I...a new sectional couch...
A new changing table...


A bassinet for Smudge...(thanks Mr. and Mrs. Hanson!)

New mattress and sheets (Jake, it's all ready for you!)...


And a new stroller, thanks to everyone from work!

Sorry for turning the blog into a catalogue, but until we have Smudge to grace these pages, we'll just have to settle for all the places where we'll cuddle him(or her), walk him (or her), change him(or her), and rock him (or her) to sleep (hopefully). Thanks to everyone for their generosity, and we can't wait for the 29th.

New crib!

No posts for a while - I was in Charleston on my annual Labor Day trip, which was a blast. On Thursday the new crib arrived, so I put it together today. Check it out! I uploaded a before/after look...it came in quite a few pieces...the room is coming together, and Erin is feeling great. She struggles to put on her shoes, but otherwise is doing very well!


We're looking forward to the Smudge party on the 29th - hope to see everyone there!
