A day in the life of Finn...

(As told by Finn)
So, today was a busy day for me! I got up and went to the Doctor's office because I have a constantly runny nose. He said some mumbo jumbo about me having something called "a cold". He's a quack! I'm not cold at all! It's like 100 degrees outside!
Anyway, after that I went to the park and played in bucket swing. If you haven't tried this before, I highly recommend it!I'm telling you...it's the best!!
Next, I went out to lunch with my Mommy and Daddy. They said something about a 3 year anniversary meal out. That makes no sense to me, because I'm only 7 months old, and before me, the world didn't exist! I just smile politely and act like they're not crazy! That menu sure was delicious though!
This restaurant we went to had the BEST summer vegetables puree! Slightly chilled, and served out of a nice white salsa bowl. Three stars.
Next, my Mommy got me ready for a bath. She said I was a little dirty, which can't be true. I can't go anywhere, and all day I hang on her! So...you do the math...what's making me so dirty, I ask you?
Regardless, these bath things sure are fun!Next stop...sleepytown!

Rockin' and a Rollin'

Finn got on his big boy rocking horse today and had a great time rockin'!Look mom, no hands!!
Dad couldn't help but pick up the Buddha-bellied little boy! He's eating more and more solids, and is trying hard to crawl...we're having a blast watching him grow up!

1st Father's Day, and a trip to the beach...

Finn and Family took a trip to Newport, RI for some Father's Day R&R and a visit with his Conn. grandparents, aunt, uncles and cousin! He was very excited to see cousin Jake again, and greeted him with open arms...It was a big weekend in many ways, a weekend of firsts...including the first time he fed himself! Little sweet potato puffs...that he learned to pick up and eat...but, sometimes his food didn't always hit the mark!
Finn found another bucket swing, and that made him very happy!

And Grandpa...And Dad in the airport, as he gave him his first Father's Day card...hand made by Finn! (sort of)

Little Man

Finn sported some new preppy duds on the porch today...
"Pass me my milk martini, jeeves!""I can't decide which is better...playing 18 holes of championship golf or rolling onto my stomach..."
And Finn squeezed some time in his schedule for tummy-tickling!
HIL-arious! Finn's Indian Name is "Tonk-Poht-ah" which roughly translates to "He with belly like an eggplant."
