And a few more pictures from Florida...

Here are a few more pictures of the two cousins from Florida! Their outfits say "I'm a little crabby." HA!

Jake's just taking a closer look at Finn's hair. "How do you keep it so soft and short? I suggest you try this new Pantene product...it really helps me control the frizz."
And we forgot to mention the BIG news...Finn rolled over for the first time from belly to back! Of course, Erin doesn't believe it since it happened when she was asleep and I was the only witness...but trust me, it DID happen!

Sun and Fun!

Finn and the Baker family are back from Florida! We had a great time hanging out with Finn's cousin Jake, Aunt Des and Uncle Sean, and (Nutmeg) Grandma and Grandpa!
After a painless flight down, Finn met his Uncle Sean for the first time...
"Hey look! We match!"
Finn hanging out with Mom in his sweet bathing duds...And taking his very first swim! The pool water was like bath water...nice and warm.
"Hey Grandpa, if you feel something warm on your leg...don't worry about it. It's probably just a jellyfish, or a random patch of warm water. It's totally cool."
"Hey look Mom! I'm swimming! Don't tell Grandpa about what I usually do when I take a warm bath. He might not smile so much if he knew that."
Jake and Finn hanging out on the couch after a nap...
"Jake, you should drop that binky - your fingers taste delicious!"
Finn meets his Cousin Jake...
"Hey! You're big! I have an idea - since our parents put us in these ridiculous outfits, let's extract a little revenge on them and not sleep well all weekend? We can wake up at 3 am and party! Ok? Deal!" "Hey Grandma! Grandma! Look at me! Pick me up! Ignore that other baby! Pick me up! Yeah!"
"Who needs fresh seafood when you've got perfectly good fingers to eat?"
Finn and Aunt Desi and Jake...
As you can see, Jake thinks it's pretty HILL-arious!
Two really tired looking guys impersonating Andy and Sean join in the cuteness fun...
Finn's first vacation was a blast!

Learning our ABC's: Anyone But Carolina!

Finn joined dad on the couch to watch some ACC hoops and root against the dreaded 'Heels. Alas, Finn still has some learning to do about how to properly root against UNC, as they pulled out another win...oh well, at least his hand tasted good!"I am so tired...of Carolina winning."
"Yay, it looks like they could lose! I'm so happy!"
"Wait...I'm confused. How did they manage a comeback? Those refs cheat every time."
Finn enjoyed some time at his 'office' this AM. Toys are fun!
All is well in Bakertown, even when Carolina wins!

Four Months of Finn!!

Well, Finn just celebrated his 4 month birthday! "My name is Zoom and I live on the moon..."
So we're going to put up a few recent pictures of the old man with some wise words from the little buddha...

"My favorite word is...caboose. It's hil-arious when you say it. Try it sometime. 'Caboose.' Ha!"
"My doctor (I can't pronounce his name) says that I still have the 'startle' reflex, but it is usually gone by month 5. I've actually fooled him, I just like to throw my arms out like this to keep YOU on guard! Hiii-ya! And check out my turtle cod-piece. Yeah."
"Winter may be ending soon, but somebody's sweet duds sure are making it a little cooler around here! Hey, it's me! Now, if only I could figure out what these giant things are that are wrapped around my tummy..."
"One more time...CABOOSE! Geez, I tell you, it gets me every time!"
All this work has made me sleepy. I may be 4 months old, but a man still needs his naps. Dad, just snuggle me up a little bit and let's watch some golf..."
Happy Birthday (sort of) Finn!

Erin gets ready for a walk in the bjorn with Finn...all bundled up in his little sheep suit.

Alpaca Finn!

Straight from the Andes to this blog...Finn wore his new sweater and hat from Charles and Paloma, who got it in Peru recently. It was just the warm and snuggly thing he needed on a cold and blustery day!Erin thinks that Finn always looks sharp in his winter sweaters! Of course, we all know how Erin feels about Baker men in sweaters...

Getting ready for some sun!

Finn's got a little case of the sniffles, a little case of the fussies, and a big case of the sleepies!
He's also getting ready for some warm summer sun in Florida with his cousin Jake!
To honor the occasion, he purchased a new cool sun hat. He decided to model it for us..."Guys, are we going to go Marlin fishing?"
Hopefully his little cold will blow over soon and then we'll be on our way to a little winter break down south.

Daycare Update!

Finn's doing great in daycare! He's playing, grasping, eating and sleeping just fine. Each day, he gets a little report card that tells us everything about his day. He's lots of smiley faces on each day's card, which is wonderful to see. Andy drops him off each morning and he always seems pretty unfazed by the entire situation...and Erin picks him up in the evening, and he is always playing and having a grand old time!
Here's a picture of Finn and Dad before his first day of school...wearing his dapper knit sweater.
What a cutie!

Back in the Saddle...

Our internet is back up, so that means more pictures of Finn!
It's been mission bottle-feed in Bakertown as of late...and it appears we're breaking through...he had several bottles today with very little struggle...whew. Day care starts on Monday!
Here he's relaxing in his new bouncy seat with his buddy Barley.More hanging out (he does that a lot) in his sweet sweater!

I love my pals giraffe, and crocodile...and zebra...
We had a little visitor today...Rickie the raccoon came to visit our yard today and look for bird eggs in our backyard tree! He sure was a fat little rascal. Here's Rickie climbing the tree.
