So while Erin was away at her friend Melissa's Bachelorette party in Miami, I painted Smudge's room and installed new blinds and curtains, and put all of Smudge's clothes away (they had been sitting in boxes in the room, the room with purple off-white walls and bamboo roll-up shades). Erin didn't know about any of it, it was a total surprise to her so when she got home today she had something nice to welcome her home! Here are some pictures...note that it's hard to shoot an empty room with no furniture (on order), but it is looking cozy now for sure.

I also got a new grill over the weekend and put that together...so tonight we had a yummy tofu marinade and grilled pepper bbq feast! Who says vegetarians can't grill out? Here it is...and a new picture of my baby mama!

That's the latest and greatest from Bakertown!
Love,
Andy and Erin

Oh, and Lucy has a shout out to Barley!
Dear Barley:
Hang in there fella...that collar surely doesn't look comfortable but with some R&R, you'll be better in no time and soon enough we will be fighting for scraps from Gramps and building our own private stick piles in their back yard.
Love,
Lucy
slick grill; looks like something suitable to be launced into space; my grill wouldn't survive the trip to the launch pad.
