After a flood-induced hiatus, Bakertown is now officially back in business! Here, Finn casts an evil eye at A/C pipes that evicted him from his apartment!

In our tinier apartment, Finn gets ready to do some Giraffe drumming!

Quiet reading on the bus on the way to the beach...

A stroll down to Repulse Bay for a day of sand and fun...

Finally! Sand and surf. Luckily, they have trees on the beach, because that beach was HOT!

After a swim in the Sea, Finn and family walk down the beach to the Repulse Bay temple area. Finn sees something that catches his eye...

A giant Buddha overlooking the bay!

Finn and Dad walk down the steps. It was quite a view to the South China Sea.

This temple area had lots of statues and elaborate sculptures...is that a Gruffalo?

Finn takes a seat - it was a very hot day as usual!

Dad joins Finn in the shade for a cool drink and some lively conversation...

Finn finds something fishy...

At the little Repulse Bay playground, we all tried to figure out what exactly this strange creature was supposed to be...a whale? A snail?

We finally found some refuge from the heat in town at a restaurant, and Finn does some reading up on indigenous cultures! He's got great taste!

We're happy that Bakertown is back, and we have a new computer! More posts to come from last weekend...
Love,
A&E
