M-I-C-K-E-Y...

Well, we finally made it to Hong Kong Disneyland! We'd planned to go last weekend, but the rain kept us away. And it was worth the wait...

Lots of sunshine (in the morning anyway) and fountains greeted us as we entered...
And Finn was happy right away when he met the balloon man!

Then he met Mickey (well, it was Minnie, but really - is there much of a difference to a 20 month old?)...and it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.Sitting on Dumbo - and an Elephant with a purple hat, too!
What's Disney without a ride in the teacups? Finn loved it!
He got his own Mickey-shaped balloon!
That was enough to tucker out Mickey's #1 fan...so during naptime, Mom and Dad traded turns riding Space Mountain...
Waking up from a nap is more fun when you can have ice cream!
And bubbles! These Disney folks have figured out the way to a child's heart!Finn met "Goof-ah" too...he was dubious at best.
But the main event was still to come...meeting Mickey! (Well, technically it was Minnie since the line was shorter to take pictures, but let's not tell him.)

But Finn was still THE celebrity to see in Disneyland, and people lined up to take pictures with him, too!The end of a very full and fun day...the park wasn't too huge, which was perfect for a little guy and his first visit to an amusement park. SO much fun was had by all.
Here are a few fun videos...one from the beginning of the day as Finn toodled down Main Street...and practically got us arrested by the Disney Po-Po!

Mickey took a 5 minute break while we waited in line and Finn gave him a big goodbye...over and over...he loves that little mouse!

And then Mickey (again, it was Minnie, but that's not the important part here) came back to a warm welcome!

It was another wonderful day in Bakertown!
