Another weekend brings more fun and adventure in Bakertown! If you're curious what the title of this post means, keep reading!
Saturday we went to a BBQ in Sai Kung, a nearby village overlooking mountains and the water...lots of food and good times...

Finn met the lady of the house, a little girl named Georgia who was about the same age - since he forgot his swim 'togs' he borrowed her pretty pink shirt! He had to rub her feet in thanks...

What a view from the baby pool!

"Um, hey Finn...that shirt looks a little familiar...and has anyone seen my hat?"

Then on Sunday we decided to take a hike on "Dragon's Back", a famous HK hike that was supposed to feature "rolling hills" and easy "seaside breezes." So off we went, with a smile on our face and a Finn in his carrier!

Things are still looking rosy! But hmm, it sure is getting hot. And I guess this particular hill ahead is just an exception to the rule...

About 3 vertical climbs later, and with a sleepy Finn in tow, we made it to the crest, and the views were remarkable.

The path took us along the peaks of the mountain range...up and down again, in brutal heat!

You can see the path ahead...lots of, um, "rolling" hills!

Soaked in sweat but still admiring the views, we stop for a photo. Are we there yet?

Not yet...but it truly was a spectacular trail.

Finn wants to do some hiking, too...

We finally made it to the little seaside town of Shek O, and had some icy cold drinks, pizza and A/C!

Here's the beach at Shek O, a favorite to the locals because of the great waves and beautiful scenery around.

Here's the 360 panarama view from the highest point at Dragon's Back...
Another great weekend, we made it home safe and sound...just a little tired!
Love,
A&E

Looks like you all need hats for climbing in that heat!
Spectacular views.
Looks like a strenuous hike. And, I can hear you panting in the movie. You looked in better shape, though, than Adam and I were after our hike to Devil's Hall.
Almost as beautiful as Vermont!
SO beautiful!
