This little Baker went to the market...

The Bakers headed off to the markets this past weekend! On our way, we stopped at a local bakery for delicious almond cookies...yum!
The famous markets at Mong Kok were setting up their fruits and veggies early...
So Andy took part in the festivities, doing some "banana bartering" - a centuries-old tradition!
And Finn happily strode down the street, looking for fellow Mickey-lovers!
Next stop was the Flower Market, and the whole street smelled like fresh flowers...
With more beautiful flowers in one place than we had ever seen! Every color under the sun...Unfortunately our camera battery died right before we got to the bird market, though. But it was cool - hundreds of birds for sale in little birdcages. Finn loved it. (You'll have to take our word for it)
On Sunday we went to the "Western market" and Finn met a new friend...
And loved to play in the English phone booth!
Right on cue...the double decker bus drove by!
We headed off to the park for some play before heading home and Finn discovered soccer!
"Ok, I'm really good at kicking and dribbling the ball...watch out, Ronaldo!"
"You can't stop my kicks! I've got skills!"
We headed back through the Causeway Bay Times Square...and back home again.
While at Western Market, Finn did some dancing in honor of his Dad's birthday!

We have a trip to Beijing this weekend coming up! We can't wait. The Great Wall has seen wars, Khans, conquering warriors, and centuries of time pass over it...but it's never seen THE BAKERS!
Love,
A&E

That banana man wouldn't dare barter with someone twice his height!
Nice dribbling, Finn; put a little drool on that ball, get some crazy break-away movement on it!
